Sun

The sun represents unconditional love, shining selflessly to nourish all creation, never asking for anything in return.

"The inner Light, the Light of God, is the same light referred to in the word "enlightment." Its intensity can range from a subtle glow to the brilliance of many millions of suns. It is through the inner Light and Sound that we come to know God."

Extracted from "The Supreme Master Ching Hai 1993 World Tour"
Series IV, page 205

"The light and sound of God come when we are in deep communion with Hirm, when we sincerely want to go back to where we came from. The light comes like a flash, like lighting, like thousands of suns, like colorful rainbows, like a beautiful electric shock. It thrills your whole body; it thrills every nerve, every cell in your body and renews your body, spirit and mind, and makes you become like a newborn baby. You become innocent, but intelligent; you become patient but very wise, very active and very fast reacting."

Spoken by Supreme Master Ching Hai, Hawaii, U.S.A.

"We can share our spiritual merits with others; we have no private property. We are individuals but we all get the same thing. The sun shines without losing its brilliance, and everyone gets its benefit. The same goes for Quan Yin practitioners: Others receive our blessings without us incurring any losses."

Spoken by Supreme Master Ching Hai, Hsihu, Formosa

"Enlightenment is a must. Enlightenment means knowing the light within ourselves, EN-LIGHTENED. The light within us will guide every footstep in our life to the correct destination. The word of God, the sound, the vibration, the music of heaven will whisper to us all the wisdom in the universe, and what we can do in our daily lives until we fulfil our duty as the blessing givers of this Earth."
